Terms

The agreement, in plain English.

The deal between you and BrainBerry. We've kept it short and human — promise.

Last updated: 1 March 2026 · Effective on launch

01The deal

BrainBerry is a UK-built revision tool for GCSE & A-Level students. By creating an account you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English; the legal team has approved this approach.

02Your account

You must be 13 or older to use BrainBerry. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.

One human, one account. Sharing accounts breaks our usage limits and we'll suspend accounts we detect being shared.

03Acceptable use

Don't try to break, scrape, or overload BrainBerry. Don't use the AI to generate harmful, illegal or off-spec content. Don't impersonate other students or teachers.

Don't upload material you don't own the rights to. Public Q-Banks you publish must be your own work or properly attributed.

04Your content

Your decks, notes and progress belong to you. You give us a limited licence to store, display and sync them so the app works.

If you publish a Q-Bank publicly, you grant other students the right to study from it inside BrainBerry. You can unpublish it at any time.

05AI-generated content

BrainBerry's AI tries hard to be accurate but it's not infallible. Always sanity-check anything you'd quote in an exam against your spec or textbook.

We never use your inputs to train AI models — yours or any third party's.

06Pricing

The core BrainBerry experience is free forever. Free users see occasional adverts and have limited monthly use of some features (like deep AI insights).

A Premium tier removes ads, unlocks unlimited AI generations, and adds the learning-style tutor and full insights.

07Suspension & termination

We can suspend accounts that break these terms. You can close your account at any time from Settings → Account.

08Liability

BrainBerry is a study tool, not a guarantee of exam results. We're not liable for grades — that's down to you and how you use it. We don't exclude liability we can't legally exclude (death, personal injury, fraud).

09Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way we'll email registered users at least 30 days in advance.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are heard in the courts of England & Wales.
